Every time the Olympics are on I start thinking about Cool Runnings. Cool Runnings is one of my favorite movies of all time. Why does networking have to be so terrifying when it should really be a regular part of our life?
2 CommentsThe majority of the movie is about whether or not Neo believes he is chosen, important, and special. And far too often, our lives come down to the same thing. Especially in our careers. What we believe is possible for our lives, for our career goals, for God’s ability to use us comes down almost entirely to what we believe about ourselves.

1 CommentSo everyone has bad days or even bad months at work, how do you know when it’s actually burnout? One author posed it as a continuum of stress– a dichotomy between stress and eventual burnout. You look for signs indicating struggle now, and make changes to head in a different direction in the future. The symptoms of burnout have been defined as exhaustion, cynicism, and inefficiency…
3 CommentsAnd at the end of the day now I can’t depend on abilities I used to rely on or my frisky brain function to always help me out, but thankfully I can always trust in God…
